National Heart Month: The Living For Zachary Foundation

In honor of National Heart month, Purus Labs is donating to the Living for Zachary Foundation. As you re-stock your supplements through March 14 at PurusLabs.com, a portion of your order will go towards a great cause that is helping to save the lives of young athletes all over the United States through regular heart screenings and lifesaving training!

The Living for Zachary Foundation means a lot to Purus Labs because the organization was created in memory of Bo Priest's (our National Sale Manager) cousin. Zachary was an all-star football player at Plano Highschool when he suddenly collapsed at the age of 16 in 2009 due to an undiagnosed heart condition.

Knowing that if this condition had been caught earlier, Zac might have survived, his mother began the Living for Zachary Foundation in his honor. The Living for Zachary Foundation provides live-saving AED machines, heart scans, lifesaving training and more in order to prevent sudden cardiac arrest in youth. Today Zac's story and his foundation have saved hundreds.
